Ian is a professor of clinical emergency medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University/Kings County Hospital who does stuff in research, resident/staff education, and some quality assurance/performance improvement (when arm is twisted). One of his many crusades is to vigorously (and often annoyingly) obstruct the path of least intellectual resistance. He also watches hours of baseball and angrily shakes his fist at clouds.
